“From Alcohol to Academics” ( http://cgbtemp.blogspot.com/ ) is about a kid who’s trying to grab that brass ring. He considers himself as having had a problem with alcohol who’s trying to not waste away in the bars anymore. His blog is a real life tear-jerking Hallmark Movie.
His About Me says Just a person who went from wasting away in a bar to going to college and trying to make something out of nothing. His name’s Chris and he’s a friend I met on Blogshares. He’s particularly disarming and as innocent and sweet as I’ve seen in quite a while here in the Blogosphere. I liked him right away.
Recently his grandmother passed away. Recently he found himself in a hole he was afraid he couldn’t escape regarding college. He was about to quit. He escaped that hole and backfilled it to boot. He likes art and I can tell it’s his passion. He’s a very emotionally in-tuned person and he’s a really awesome kid. He’s inspires me and I think he’s making his grandmother proud.
