I dislike traveling more than I dislike chipping a nail. I’m always fearful I’ll forget a book I’ll ‘need’ as if it ranks right up there with oxygen and health. But when I go on my Sabbatical I always go to a place where reading is essential… or insanity. I’ll be there and the mood strikes I need to catch up in a certain genre but too late the book is here.
I’m blogging now because I have three hours before I need to get to the station. I’m sitting here in my underwear with a towel wrapped around my wet head and only half packed. Tell me that’s not self-fulfilling prophesy. I also have unfinished work business I need to tend to before I leave but haven’t really the ideas necessary in order to know which direction to go in. And when all else fails, freeze.
I’ll be back in about three weeks around Dec 28th. But right now I have to go dry my hair.
